The AP Psychology course provides students with an understanding of the methods, theories, and concepts used in the scientific study of behavior and mental processes.
The key to success in AP Psychology and on the AP Exam is practice and persistence. Having a tutoring program will provide consistency in reviewing the ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Receiving feedback from a tutor will allow a student to develop a deep understanding of the subject and feel confident on exam day.
Effective preparation and tutoring can give students that extra boost they need to succeed. Our one-on-one tutoring includes examining the concepts of psychology through reading, discussion, and analyzing data from psychological research studies.
Reviewing the format of the exam with an instructor and the types of questions that will be asked, will better prepare a student for test day. Our goal is to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in AP Psychology, maintain a high GPA, and reach their full potential.
Taking a practice AP Psychology test will allow a student to have the experience of taking an AP test and build their test-taking skills and confidence. A practice AP test will provide our education team with the ability to assess the student’s knowledge, identify areas for improvement, and build an individualized program to maximize their score on the AP Test.
The AP Psychology Exam is 2 hours. The AP exam is designed to test a student’s understanding of the psychological concepts covered in the course, as well as the student’s ability to analyze behavioral studies. The exam includes a multiple-choice section, a free-response section consisting of two questions.
